Diocese of Toledo Courses of Study
NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP)
The approved alternative standardized assessment used by all schools within the Diocese of Toledo is the NWEA Measures of Academic Progress. This assessment is taken in the fall and spring of each school year (and optionally in the winter depending on the school). Grades K-2 take the Reading and Math assessments, and grades 3-8 take the Reading, Math, Laguage Arts, and Science assessments. The results of these assessments are broken down into specific skills areas in which each child is ready to develop.
Assessment of Religious Knowledge (ARK)
Students in all grades in the Diocese of Toledo as well as teachers take the Assessment of Religious Knowledge (ARK) in the spring of every school year.
