      Belief Statements

      As Catholic School Educators, in partnership with parents, the primary educators of their children,

      • We believe St. Peter Catholic School is not only a school, but a community of Faith;
      • We believe those entrusted to us are not only students, but children of God;
      • We believe we are not only educators, but Ministers of the Gospel;
      • We believe the values we teach are not only character development, but a call to Holiness;
      • We believe our courses of study are not only academic pursuits, but a search for Truth;
      • We believe the purpose of education is not only for personal gain and the development of society, but for the Transformation of the world.

      Accreditation

      St. Peter School is fully accredited by the Ohio Catholic Schools Accrediting Association (OCSAA)

      How it works:

      The accrediation process is a 6-year cycle.

      Year 1: This is a year of self-study. Data is collected via stakeholder surveys which aids the school’s faculty in determining goals to be included in the school improvement plan (SIP).

      Year 2: This is the year of the External Validation Team (EVT) visit. Members of the EVT include several principals from our own diocese and a principal from another Ohio diocese who serves as chair. The EVT reviews evidence from the previous and proposed school improvement plans, meets with the teachers, and provides feedback for the school’s accreditation committee to improve the proposed SIP.

      Years 3-6: Once the SIP is approved by OCSAA, it is time to implement the 4-year plan. During this time, the faculty focuses on professional development, implementation of the professional development, assessment and instructional strategies, and ongoing student learning. Evidence and data is collected and a progress report is submitted at the mid-point and end of the 4-year plan.

      Our goals for the 2025-2031 cycle
      Catholic Identity: Students will develop strategies to demonstrate a greater understanding of living discipleship through acts of service.
      Academic Progress: Students will increase achievement by developing problem-solving strategies to address academic, social, and real-world problems.

      Nondiscriminatory Policy

      St. Peter Catholic School recruits and admits students of any race, color, or ethnic origins to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities. The school will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, scholarships, or educational programs and athletic/extracurricular activities. In addition, the school is not intended to be an alternative to court or administrative agency ordered, or public school district initiated desegregation.

      Student Enrollment

      As of October 31, 2025, St. Peter Catholic School has 125 students enrolled in grades K through 8.
