Volunteer Opportunities
Want to get involved with the school? We have tons of opportunities available for family members and friends to volunteer! Contact the school office if you are interested in volunteering.

Recess
Recess volunteers support our regular recess monitor in keeping the students safe at recess by enforcing the recess rules. There are 3 recesses during the lunch hours, and volunteers may choose to be scheduled for any or all recesses on a particular day. Recess volunteers must be Virtus trained every 5 years.
Cafeteria
Cafeteria volunteers support our cafeteria staff by serving food, monitoring students as they eat, and cleaning up the cafeteria after each lunch period. Cafeteria volunteers must be Virtus trained every 5 years.
St. Pete’s Summerfest
The Summerfest has a variety of volunteer opportunities including running games, serving food, handling behind-the-scenes tasks, etc.
St. Pete’s Auction
The auction offers many ways to volunteer including preparation leading up to and helping with activities on the the night of the auction.
Chaperone Field Trips
Our teachers believe in the value of hands-on learning experiences that come from the variety of fields trips the students have the opportunity to take. Often times this requires additional support to make sure the field trip runs smoothly. Parents are encouraged to volunteer as chaperones to support these learning opportuniries. Chaperones must be Virtus trained every 5 years.
Assist in the Classroom
Throughout the year teachers will plan fun activities for the students. Be on the lookout for information from individual teachers requesting support in the classroom for upcoming activities, or reach out directly to the teachers to see how you can help in the classroom.
