Teaching Positions

8th Grade Homeroom: 5th-8th Grade ELA and Social Studies Teacher (2026-27 School Year–Full Time)

The Catholic School Teacher for Grades 5–8 is responsible for providing high-quality instruction in English Language Arts and Social Studies while supporting the spiritual, moral, and academic development of students in accordance with the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church. The teacher integrates faith, values, and academic excellence to create a nurturing and disciplined learning environment. In addition to regular teaching expectations, the 8th grade homeroom teacher organizes the 8th grade trip to Washington DC.

Top Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, English Language Arts, or Social Studies
  • Valid teaching certification or eligibility for certification per diocesan requirements
  • Practicing Catholic preferred (or willing to support and uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church)
  • Experience teaching middle school English Language Arts and/or Social Studies preferred
  • Be able to pass required FBI/BCI background checks
