Teaching Positions

5th Grade Homeroom Teacher (2026-27 School Year–Full Time)

Due to internal staff reassignments, this position has become available as current teachers transition to new roles within the school. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher for grade 5. This will include a class exchange with 4th grade for one subject. The ideal candidate will inspire students and prepare developmentally appropriate instruction while integrating Catholic values throughout the curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards and school curriculum
  • Integrate Catholic teachings and values into daily instruction and classroom culture
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and school mission
  • Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and faith-based activities

Top Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education
  • Valid teaching certification or eligibility for certification per diocesan requirements
  • Practicing Catholic preferred (or willing to support and uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church)
  • Experience teaching similar grade levels preferred
  • Be able to pass required FBI/BCI background checks
